July 26, 2004--BFI Canada Income Fund (TSX:BFC.UN) (the "Fund") will hold a conference call to discuss second quarter results for fiscal year 2004 on Thursday, August 5, 2004. BFI Canada will issue its second quarter results by press release on the afternoon of Thursday, August 5, 2004.

The conference call with analysts and investors will begin at 4:30 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, August 5, 2004, during which Keith Carrigan, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Joseph Quarin, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the Fund's financial results for the second quarter.
