BFI Canada Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:BFC.UN) will hold its annual general meeting of unitholders on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

The Fund also announced today that it will issue its first quarter fiscal 2005 results by press release on Thursday, May 12, 2005, prior to the meeting. The Fund will hold a conference call to discuss first quarter results on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. (ET).

The conference call with analysts and investors will begin at 8:30 a.m. (ET) on Friday, May 13, 2005, during which Keith Carrigan, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Joseph Quarin, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the Fund's financial results for the first quarter.
